Description
Based on the very popular Pro Co Rat distortion pedal, which debuted in 1978, my version duplicates the original sound, while also providing a second flavor of diode clipping with a toggle switch (similar to the Turbo Rat, but better).
It is heavy! It is warm! It has a tone knob, which acts as a low pass filter, a distortion/gain knob, and a volume knob. The guitar in and amp out are placed on the sides, and a 9v adapter on the top edge (or you could add in a 9V battery).
Also features a deluxe hand-drawn and etched bat and spider web design which drapes around the edges of the case, patinaed with sulfur, black & silver Marshall-style knobs, and a blue LED light.
It is hand-wired, with a personally designed, hand-etched circuit board, all made in Boulder, Colorado, USA. Email me with any questions!
